Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services of Dream Kraft Interiors ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Offered

Dream Kraft Interiors provides comprehensive interior design services, including but not limited to:

  • Residential and commercial interior design
  • Space planning and layout design
  • Kitchen and bedroom design
  • Living room and office space design
  • Design consultations and project management
  • Material selection and procurement assistance
  • Construction coordination and supervision

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your project
  • Grant necessary access to the property for design and construction work
  • Make timely payments according to the agreed schedule
  • Obtain all necessary permits and approvals required by local authorities
  • Communicate changes or concerns promptly
  • Ensure the safety and security of the work site

4. Project Agreements and Contracts

All projects require a signed contract specifying:

  • Scope of work and project deliverables
  • Timeline and milestones
  • Payment terms and schedule
  • Material specifications and allowances
  • Change order procedures
  • Warranty and maintenance terms

5. Pricing and Payments

5.1 Payment Terms

  • Design consultation fee: As quoted (typically ₹2,000 - ₹5,000)
  • Project advance: 30-40% of total project cost
  • Progress payments: As per milestone completion
  • Final payment: Upon project completion and client approval

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments via bank transfer, cheque, UPI, and cash. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR).

5.3 Late Payments

Late payments may incur additional charges of 2% per month. Work may be suspended for payments overdue by more than 15 days.

6. Design Process and Intellectual Property

6.1 Design Ownership

All design concepts, drawings, and specifications remain the intellectual property of Dream Kraft Interiors until full payment is received.

6.2 Design Revisions

The initial design package includes up to 3 revision rounds. Additional revisions may incur extra charges at ₹1,000 - ₹3,000 per revision round.

6.3 Design Approval

Client approval is required at each design phase. Approved designs cannot be changed without additional charges.

7. Project Timeline and Delays

7.1 Standard Timelines

  • Design phase: 7-15 days (depending on project complexity)
  • Material procurement: 15-30 days
  • Execution: 30-90 days (depending on scope)

7.2 Delays

Timelines may be extended due to:

  • Client-requested changes or delays in approvals
  • Material availability or delivery delays
  • Unforeseen site conditions
  • Weather conditions or force majeure events
  • Permit or approval delays

8. Warranty and Quality Assurance

8.1 Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 1-year warranty on our workmanship from the date of project completion.

8.2 Material Warranty

Material warranties are as per manufacturer specifications and are not covered under our workmanship warranty.

8.3 Warranty Exclusions

Warranty does not cover damage due to:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Modifications by others
  • Acts of nature or accidents

9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

9.1 Client Cancellation

  • Before design phase: 90% refund of advance payment
  • During design phase: 50% refund after deducting completed work
  • After design approval: 25% refund after deducting all costs incurred
  • During execution: No refund, but work will be completed to the current stage

9.2 Company Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel projects due to non-payment, breach of contract, or safety concerns. In such cases, work completed will be charged, and remaining advance will be refunded.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the total contract value. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Loss of profits or business interruption
  • Damage to existing property not related to our work
  • Structural issues not within our scope of work

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, material shortages, or pandemic-related disruptions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:

  1. Direct negotiation between parties
  2. Mediation by a mutually agreed mediator
  3. Arbitration under Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act
  4. Courts in Bangalore, Karnataka will have exclusive jurisdiction

13. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality of your project details. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

14. Photography and Marketing

We may request permission to photograph completed projects for portfolio and marketing purposes. Your consent will be obtained before using any images. You may opt out at any time.

15. Amendments

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India and the state of Karnataka.
